On April 14, 2016, the second in a series of meetings was held at the Ministry of Environment on the revision of waste management directives. The Association was represented at the consultation by Ms. Edyta Kwapich-Lenik Member Regular Member, and Mateusz Sowka Member of the SPR Board. The Polish Recycling Association was registered in the KRS of the City of Warsaw at the end of March, and in such a short period of time was noticed as a partner for consultation at the Ministry of Environment. Consultations with representatives of various industries from food, paper and, of course, recycling are part of a series of regular meetings where various aspects of the broadly defined circular economy ( Circular Economy ) are discussed. The meeting was attended by : Deputy Minister Slawomir Mazurek, Dir. Department of Waste Management Małgorzata Szymborska and Minister Counselor Beata Kłopotek.
