“On April 11, 2016, a conference organized by the Waste Management and Recycling Cluster was held in the Sejm, at which the Board of Directors of our Association was represented by SPR Vice President Slawomir Pacek. This conference was about recyclers in the context of the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Management System, but the legal and economic realities are very similar to ours. Patron of the event was the Deputy Speaker of the Sejm, and the deliberations themselves were attended, among others, by politicians, and people who participate in the work of Ministries, and Parliamentary Commissions dealing with issues concerning our Association.
This was not the first time that the Management Board of the Polish Recycling Association participated in parliamentary events – among others, SPR President Szymon Dziak-Czekan took part in the deliberations of the Parliamentary Committee on Environmental Protection.”
