We are pleased to announce that the ENGIE Zielona Energia Sp. z o.o. company has taken over the role of Patron of the Polish Recykling Association ENGIE Zielona Energia Sp. z o.o.
This is the third Partner Company that, together with us, has undertaken to jointly implement goals and missions in the recycling industry.

ENGIE Zielona Energia is a company of the international concern ENGIE, present in over 30 countries around the world, operating in the field of low-emission energy and services. The group has a strong position in Europe, is a leader in the energy transformation and one of the largest energy suppliers in the world. The company is implementing a strategy under which its renewable energy capacity will amount to 80 GW by 2030. It has extensive experience in implementing renewable energy investments and is present in all markets key to the growth of renewable energy. Moreover, as reported by Bloomberg, last year (2023) ENGIE became the leader in the sale of clean energy through PPA agreements, implementing transactions with a total capacity of 2.4 GW. ENGIE is also the only major supplier to have signed a corporate solar, onshore and offshore PPA in 2023.
In Poland, ENGIE has wind farms with a capacity of 241 MW and photovoltaic farms with a capacity of 118 MWp, which produce over 670 GWh of green energy annually. Thanks to the production of energy from renewable sources, it does not emit any pollutants and remains carbon neutral. The energy sold by ENGIE powers the largest companies throughout the country, which brings them closer to achieving carbon neutrality.
ENGIE in Poland operates within seven companies on the energy, building services, ventilation systems management and heat production markets.
The company operates in the following areas:
- energy production from own assets
- autonomous trading activity on the Polish Power Exchange (TGE)
- OTC (over-the-counter trading)
- sale of electricity to industrial customers as part of flexible products and PPA
- products and services for external distributed energy, mainly renewable energy (PPA, CPA, market access, risk management, contract management) and thermal power plants
- activity in the field of structured products: energy, certificates, GoOs and POB services (Entity Responsible for Trade Balancing) under a regulated pricing mechanism
